We install, repair, and service both residential and commercial garage doors for a wide variety of businesses, builders, and homeowners in Wilmington, Fayetteville and the surrounding areas.
Job Information
A Garage Door Technician at Overhead Door Company is responsible for the installation and service of residential garage doors of all types. As a lead, previous industry experience is required. Apprentice roles are available for less experience applicants.
Success in these roles primarily depends on the applicant's ability to be self-motivated and their willingness to see jobs through to completion. A desire to lead and a strong motivation to complete jobs in a timely manner will help you succeed. Pay is structured to incentivize hard work and good quality.
Major Requirements
- Willingness to work with your hands
- Ability to follow directions and complete jobs in a timely manner
- Ability to lift 75 pounds and carry 25 feet
- Working knowledge of power tools
- Mechanical aptitude
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Ability to pass drug screen and criminal background check
